By now you’ve read many emails, articles and similar blog posts about responses to the COVID-19 pandemic. This is no different, except I hope to offer you some hope and tangible solutions to your continued dealings with CWA. Also, I’m writing this from home…
On Monday, March 23 our entire office was uprooted and immediately set up to work remotely with little to no down time. You may not have noticed because many of you were doing the same, thinking about it, or still adjusting to your own changes.
Fast forward to today, just 2 weeks later, and we are still running smoothly. Just like always, if you call, we’ll answer. If you email, we’ll respond. Just don’t stop by for a while, please.
However, many of you get in touch with us through (snail) mail, usually in the form of sending premium payments. This is something that’s usually done by old fashioned check. Since many are working remotely, with little access to paper documents or physical checks, we have expedited future plans to allow online payments. During this wild time, I’m happy that we were able to respond quickly with no downtime. I’m encouraged by watching and hearing about many of you doing the same. I have no doubt that the way we all work will continue to evolve; our industry is resilient and flexible.
